Golden Heart Dream
I found what looked like a gold spray-painted cardboard box, but as it turned out, it was actually gold. Inside were several golden items as well, including a necklace with a plain little heart-shaped pendant on it. As it turned out, anything that this pendant touched would turn to gold, ala Midas and his dangerous finger.
I found that I could turn small metal items to gold rather quickly, but larger things, and especially non-metal things, could take quite a while. Another disturbing thing I found was that the pendant didn't chose what to change ... as in, it wouldn't just change a single item ... it would change anything touching it as well. Slowly. So if you sat it in a box on your dresser, the box would slowly change to gold, and then your dresser would have a golden spot where the box sat, and left long enough, the spot would grow larger until the entire dresser and everything in it would turn to gold, as well as the floor it was sitting on and the wall it was touching.
So, as you've probably guessed, my fingers starting turning gold, and the dream gave me some very vivid and grotesque detail about that, which is when it started turning into a nightmare, and also when I woke up.
The things in the dream that I changed to gold were: a chain, a table, a brick, a plate of Chicken McNuggets, an iguana, a spider, my dresser (and all my socks and underwear!), part of a rug, parts of my fingers, and a Coke can.
What does it mean?
