In the midst of the Perseid
The weather here in DFW is beautiful, especially for this time of year. It's not even supposed to hit 90 until Sunday.
Like, wow.

Thursday, August 12, 2004In the midst of the Perseid
We're in the midst of the Perseid Meteor Shower, the peak being last night, so I took my girlfriend out past the city lights and we watched for about an hour and a half. Not keeping close track, I would estimate we saw at least 20 really good ones, all after midnight. Dazzling bright with luminescent trails. We faced east and the majority of them crossed the sky going from north to south. Definitely a nice show, not to mention very romantic.

Sounds *very* romantic!
As for the weather, I know the feeling. Its been in the sixties here the past few days, and won't reach 80 until at least Monday, which would've been unheard of in Stockton. Of course, I could say something similar about Chicago weather in January (wince).
Me...
We'll be in the mid 70's today. Normal would be the mid 90's. Go figure! "Cat's and Dogs living together. Total anarchy!"
